Connolly Celtic 1-1 Kildysart

Despite having most of the ball and creating many chance, the U13s were held to a draw in Kilmaley this evening.

Cian O’Sullivan caused havoc for Connolly on our right side and was often doubled up on. On one such occasion, Cian won a free kick 30 yards from goal on the right hand side. Cian placed the ball himself and struck it high and powerfully over the Connolly keeper into the corner of the goal.

We pressed on for a second, and created further opportunities, but couldn’t find another.
Unfortunately, Connolly capitalised on a breakaway from our corner and found an equaliser with 5 minutes left.
