Kildysart U13 5-1 Tulla United U13

After a pitch inspection, the game got underway in very wet and windy conditions.

An early run and finish from Cian O’Sullivan got us on the front foot and the boys kept the pressure on. Lots of interplay across the back line and midfield brought shooting opportunities which drew saves from the visiting keeper.

A second goal arrived into the corner through Aaron Connelly following Kyle Frawley’s layoff. Continued pressure brought a flurry of corners and five minutes before halftime, William Neenan turned home the third.

The second half brought expected pressure from Tulla, and a goal arrived not long after.

The team managed the pressure, with Alex, Joe, Robbie and Andrew playing their way out of trouble.

A big free kick from Cian with 10 minutes left made it four, and five from time Aaron slotted home number five.
